COVID-19 Information

Important changes to our cancellation policy and check-in times due to the COVID-19 pandemic:
Due to the uncertainty of how COVID-19 will effect us this summer we are changing our cancellation policy from 120 days to 48 hours before you arrival for any 2021 visits. We reserve the right to open later or close earlier as needed if the crisis continues. Our check-in time is now 4 pm to give our cleaners more time to clean the cottages! Please be sure and check your email and our COVID-19 web page often for notifications of any changes and information! Thank you for your understanding and stay safe during this crisis!

The Governor usually updates her policies right before a current period ends so that she can use the most current data to make her decisions. In 2020 things changed monthly so keep an eye on the information sites to see what is happening!
Like the rest of the country, Maine's numbers are increasing! Because of that our Governor has requested that masks be worn in public indoor settings. Stores can set their own policies and some are requiring masks. Our Governor removed any requirement for testing or vaccination for visitors from other states! International visitors are required to show proof of vaccination or must quarantine for 7-10 days. If there is a big spike or variant pops up that could change. Julie and I are both fully vaccinated and will help you through the "service window" on the office porch for check-in/out and information. We have many families who have youngsters who can not get vaccinated yet so are happy to wear our masks as an extra safety precaution. One family on the porch at a time and Please practice proper social distancing. We have close to 5 acres and only 9 cottages so that should not be hard to do!!

Please note that these requirements will likely change and you will have to comply with any restrictions in place at the time of your stay!

COVID Act Now info on our county (Hancock) - https://covidactnow.org/us/maine-me/county/hancock_county/ Many sites show number of cases per 100,000 people. Hancock county only has a little over 50,000 residents so the number is actually twice what our actual counts are. You can look up the information on many web sites but this one was less cluttered and had the information I thought you would be interested in. If you find a better site, please let me know!!
